Gerron is an EMMY and Murrow award-winning journalist who has worked as a producer, reporter and anchor in several news markets across the south and Midwest. He’s now thrilled to call Milwaukee home. Gerron currently anchors the top-rated morning and 11AM newscasts at WISN 12 News. Since joining WISN as a morning anchor in November 2021, he has become a beloved and trusted voice in homes across southeast Wisconsin. He co-hosts WISN’s weekly, statewide politics and public affairs program, UPFRONT, where he holds local, state and federal leaders accountable. Gerron has also served as an adjunct instructor in the Manship School of Communications at Louisiana State University and in Marquette University’s Diedrich College of Communications.
